Mama Roots Collective is a community-based platform and physical space designed to connect individuals and families with independent providers specializing in fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and family care. While we offer a curated environment for education, community, and connection, Mama Roots Collective does not itself provide medical, therapeutic, or hands-on care services.
You understand and agree that Mama Roots Collective functions solely as a facilitator of connections and a host for classes, events, and provider-led services. All services, including but not limited to lactation consulting, massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, pelvic floor therapy, doula support, or any other wellness services, are provided exclusively by independent contractors who operate their own businesses.
Mama Roots Collective does not employ, supervise, direct, or control these providers, and we are not responsible for their professional conduct, treatment decisions, advice, or services. Any agreement for services is strictly between you and the provider, and you assume full responsibility for evaluating and selecting providers based on your individual needs.
3. Communications
By using our Service, you agree to subscribe to newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information we may send. These communications may include updates about classes, events, providers, and offerings within Mama Roots Collective.
However, you may opt out of receiving any or all of these communications from us at any time by following the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us directly. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you administrative messages related to your account, membership, or participation in the Service.
4. Membership and Accounts
Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account or purchase a membership. When you do so, you agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account.

By registering for or participating in any class or event, you acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you are solely responsible for determining whether such participation is appropriate for you or your child.
You understand that some classes may involve physical movement, discussion of sensitive topics, or interaction with infants, and you agree to assume all risks associated with participation. Mama Roots Collective does not guarantee any specific outcomes from participation in classes or events and does not supervise or control how independent providers conduct their sessions.
You further acknowledge that Mama Roots Collective is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages that may occur as a result of your participation.
6. Independent Provider Services
All services offered through Mama Roots Collective are provided by independent contractors who are solely responsible for their own businesses, licensing, insurance, and professional standards. Mama Roots Collective does not verify, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the credentials, qualifications, or services of any provider.
Any bookings, payments, consent forms, and service agreements are handled directly between you and the provider. Mama Roots Collective is not a party to these agreements and shall not be held liable for any disputes, dissatisfaction, injuries, or outcomes related to services provided.
By engaging with a provider, you acknowledge that you are entering into a direct relationship with that provider and that Mama Roots Collective bears no responsibility for the services rendered.
7. Payments and Refunds
Mama Roots Collective may collect payment for memberships, classes, or events offered through the Service. All fees are clearly disclosed prior to purchase, and by completing a transaction, you agree to pay all applicable charges.
Unless otherwise stated, membership fees are non-refundable. Class and event purchases may be subject to specific cancellation or rescheduling policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Payments for services provided by independent contractors are handled separately and are subject to the provider’s individual policies. Mama Roots Collective is not responsible for issuing refunds or resolving disputes related to provider services.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, or in a manner that could harm Mama Roots Collective, its users, or its providers.
You further agree not to engage in conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Service, including harassment, fraud, impersonation, or the transmission of harmful or malicious content.
Additionally, you agree not to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, or use automated tools to copy or monitor content without prior written consent.

This includes, but is not limited to, any injury, loss, or damages resulting from participation in classes, events, or services provided by independent contractors. If liability is found, it shall be limited to the amount paid by you to Mama Roots Collective, if any. Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Mama Roots Collective within the past three (3) months
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
