Weaning Support in San Francisco

Weaning Is Filled With Lots Of Feelings, Join Us At Mama Roots Collective

Class Description

Weaning earlier than expected can bring up so many emotions—grief, guilt, sadness, relief, or a mix of all of them. Whether this was a difficult decision or one that was made for you by circumstances outside of your control, you don't have to navigate this transition alone.

This supportive class, led by a lactation consultant and licensed family and marriage therapist, offers space to process the emotional side of unexpected weaning, understand the physical and hormonal changes that can come with this transition, and explore meaningful ways to continue nurturing connection with your baby.

You'll leave feeling less alone, more supported, and with practical tools to help you care for yourself and strengthen your bond with your baby beyond breastfeeding.
